Guinness World Record Holders 2007!

Since 1985, thousands of young road hockey enthusiasts have participated in our annual 4 on 4 Roadbreakers Road Hockey Tournament in Waterloo, Ontario. More than just a lot of fun, Roadbreakers is road hockey with heart. From the very beginning, it's been all about kids helping kids, with tournament proceeds donated to local youth charities.
Held on the last Saturday of April, in a parking lot at the University of Waterloo, the tournament has grown steadily each year. During last year's event, more than 1,000 boys and girls played nearly 500 hockey games to raise over $25,000. To-date, more than 27,000 participants and volunteers have raised close to $390,000 for local youth charities.

Our Charity of Choice
After donating to various local youth charities during its first decade, Roadbreakers conducted a charitable organization selection process and adopted Therapeutic Horseback Riding as their charity of choice.
Horseback riding provides both physical and mental benefits ranging from an increase in muscle control, balance as well as the development of independence and self-confidence.
Roadbreakers is proud to help make a difference by working with Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program-Pride Stables, who provide such a unique form of therapy to hundreds of children in our communities. For more information on our charity of choice, click in the About Us section.
